At Davidson Benefits Planning we view our account managers as an extension of your HR team. As a result, we have been able to keep our clients on top of their compliance concerns and are competent to provide the best solutions for your company’s unique needs in this important area.

You Are Not Alone

We Are Your Partner

Our partnership with our clients is always at the forefront of our minds. In the HR/employee benefits industry timely and meaningful information is crucial. DBP keeps you on top of compliance issues and concerns in a variety of ways, including:

  • Compliance assistance (COBRA, Medicare Part D, HIPAA, Plan Contracts and Summary Plan Descriptions, Additional Notices, etc.)
  • Annual 5500 preparation and Summary Annual Report
  • Compliance training for your HR team on the latest employee benefits HR issues with free seminars (DBP is an HRCI Approved Provider), DVDs, PowerPoints, and white papers on a variety of topics
  • HR Insider (our HR benefits portal) will keep you up to date with the latest trends such as major federal benefits legislation, ERISA information, Mental Health Parity, Medicare Part D, Newborn & Mother’s health protection act, taxation of payroll and benefits, federal employment laws and labor law updates. Also includes a resource center document library with compliance booklets on fed./state documents and HR forms/policies
  • Monthly newsletter (HR & Wellness)
  • Compliance Binder filled with information specific to the needs of each client
  • Periodic updates via email (including links to various sites) and regular mail
  • Extended team accessibility

We Are Proactive

Many brokers and consultants say they are proactive, but we live it. For example, when Medicare added required employer actions relating to the new Part D prescription drug plan, DBP provided clients a white paper, provided the required analysis and notices, held related seminars for our clients and filed with Medicare on behalf of our clients. Basically, we did as much as we could to limit the additional workload for our clients while keeping them updated on the process and progress.

Legal Expertise

We encourage clients to contact us with any HR legal matters. Often our in-house compliance specialists have worked on similar legal concerns with other clients and have a ready response, but if not, we will work on your behalf through our resources and your in-house attorney to satisfy your concerns.

Our expert resources include national labor law and employee benefits legal advisory services through Fisher & Phillips in Atlanta, GA, and local ERISA Attorney, Tom Kramer of Bullard, Smith, Jernstedt & Wilson.

Should your company have international needs, DBP is well seasoned and poised for action. To effectively navigate the international benefits market we aligned ourselves with Asinta. Asinta is a global network of actuarial and employee services consultants. For international employers, Asinta offers reliable networking, compliance and regulatory expertise and direct personal service.
